Lower Santa Clara River Watershed, Illustrated Field Notes & Reflections

The Nature Conservancy, L.A.-Ventura Project

This tabloid-size publication collects field notes, reflective essays and photographs taken during site visits and months of research while developing a conservation values and outdoor preferences survey for The Nature Conservancy, Los Angeles-Ventura Project. It includes semi-structured interviews with stakeholders, field observations and excerpts of informal conversations with neighbors in and around TNC conservation sites along the Lower Santa Clara River Watershed. The work was part of the Strategies for Land Conservation clinical seminar taught by Brad Gentry at the Yale School of the Environment.
